Reiki

Reiki treatments replenish the body’s life force energy and balance the chakras*. When I channel Reiki, I feel I am administering the energy of love. Your session will end with sound healing with tuning forks and soft drumming. So good for the soul!

All You Need to Do Is Receive

If a person’s life force energy has become sluggish or blocked from normal everyday stress or from a traumatic event, the flow is disrupted and can cause physical, emotional, and spiritual impairment. But when Ki is in full flow, we feel healthier, more energetic, and calmer.

Reiki can:

  • diminish stress, fatigue, and pain

  • help with digestion

  • improve the healing process following an injury, illness or surgery

  • strengthen self-esteem

  • offer relief for chronic tension including headaches

  • help to alleviate depression, anxiety, and negative behavioral patterns

  • promote better sleep at night

  • help improve concentration

As a trained Reiki practitioner, I serve as a conduit of life force energy to a client--by means of direct touch or by contact with their aura--to support the natural healing processes of the body and help restore physical and emotional well-being. I am Reiki III master-level certified, trained in the Usui tradition through Martha Spruce, Hearts and Hands Reiki Clinic in Brunswick.

The Center for Reiki Research offers many peer-reviewed and science-based articles that you will find here.

*While a Reiki treatment can reduce or eliminate pain, it should not be considered a replacement for medical  or psychotherapeutic treatment but rather a complement to it.

"Just wanted to send a quick note that I really enjoyed our time together yesterday. It was very validating and relaxing for me. When I got home, my partner said "Wow, your face looks different. You look so peaceful." Thanks again and look forward to scheduling again."
