All You Need to Do Is Receive
If a person’s life force energy has become sluggish or blocked from normal everyday stress or from a traumatic event, the flow is disrupted and can cause physical, emotional, and spiritual impairment. But when Ki is in full flow, we feel healthier, more energetic, and calmer.
Reiki can:
-
diminish stress, fatigue, and pain
-
help with digestion
-
improve the healing process following an injury, illness or surgery
-
strengthen self-esteem
-
offer relief for chronic tension including headaches
-
help to alleviate depression, anxiety, and negative behavioral patterns
-
promote better sleep at night
-
help improve concentration
As a trained Reiki practitioner, I serve as a conduit of life force energy to a client--by means of direct touch or by contact with their aura--to support the natural healing processes of the body and help restore physical and emotional well-being. I am Reiki III master-level certified, trained in the Usui tradition through Martha Spruce, Hearts and Hands Reiki Clinic in Brunswick.
The Center for Reiki Research offers many peer-reviewed and science-based articles that you will find here.
*While a Reiki treatment can reduce or eliminate pain, it should not be considered a replacement for medical or psychotherapeutic treatment but rather a complement to it.
